The First Time Out These are a few images from out first time testing the truck at the Stoddard OHV area near Barstow, CA
This is an early/mid 1980's Ford Ranger It is currently owned by Ryan Rouse and myself, David Wilkinson Along with the help of Dale Wilkinson, Ervin (Nuffie) Sillo, and Ryan, we are currently in process of restoring this former Soda Race truck as a Class 7 race truck in an effort to race it in the MDR (Mohave Desert Racing) race series. It was rumored from the previous owner that this truck was originally build by Curt LeDuc, however we have not had the chance to confirm with Curt LeDuc that he built this truck. We hope to have this truck race ready for at least some of the 2005 MDR off-road desert race series
